- Relics must be washed before they can be traded, Dirty Relics must be thrown in water (by dropping from inventory) to clean them, which has a chance to destroy the relic.
- Once cleaned a Relic can be offered to a Curator Villager by right-clicking, upon which they will examine it and toss you a number of coins.
- Coins are then traded to Villagers that have professions for various items.
